Entry Requirements to Qatar

Now that the FIFA World Cup 2022 has ended, we would like to highlight that the entry requirements to the State of Qatar, which were in place from 1 November until 22 December 2022, have ended. Effective 23 December 2022 Citizens of over 95 countries will be eligible for visa-free entry into the State of Qatar. The permitted length of stay will vary. 

• Citizens and residents of Qatar are allowed to enter regardless of their vaccination status. 
• COVID-19 Country Red Risk Classification is no longer applicable.
• Quarantine is no longer mandatory for all travellers arriving from abroad, however, travellers who test positive for COVID-19 after arriving in Qatar must undergo quarantine measures in accordance with the procedures followed in the State of Qatar.
• ​Visitors from age 6 years and above must bring a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test certificate with a negative result valid for ​48 hours or a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) certificate valid for 24 hours, from the scheduled flight to the State of Qatar.

• All arrving passengers have to install EHTERAZ application on their cell phones.
